Breaking Down Advances In Wind Tech

The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) says solar energy accounts for twenty eight percent of the worlds renewable energy generation capacity, whilst wind energy comes in a close second at twenty seven percent. However, if we are to turn the table on climate change, these number must increase. Of course, a logical solution would be to increase the size of the wind turbines used to generate wind energy, but this may increase noise pollution levels. Another interesting development proposed by Swedish Modvion, is to make wind turbines more recyclable by building then out of wood compared to the tradition steel material.
